Poppy Bridge Magnet

Before entering the Main Gallery of the National WWI Museum, visitors cross the Paul Sunderland Glass Bridge, suspended over a symbolic Western Front poppy field. The nine thousand poppies each represent 1000 combat deaths and offer a poignant reminder of the 9 million who perished as a direct result of the war.
